Tabernacle Baptist Church, Newbridge has opened a branch of the Pantside Community Foodbank at its High Street town centre facilities to help people in need in the community.
Food parcels can be collected between 10am and 12pm every Tuesday but people must bring with them ID for proof of address and to ensure that the food is distributed fairly. The Tabernacle premises will also be open each Friday (10am-12pm) to receive donations of food and/or toiletries.
Tabernacle minister Pastor Peter Cho said: “We would like to give a massive thanks to everyone who has already donated Christmas hampers, food and cash donations to support people in our community. We thank God for their kindness and generosity.”
